New England Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon, chopped
    3 c. diced potatoes
    1 medium onion, minced
    2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams (undrained)
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2 c. milk, divided
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2/3 c. half and half
Preparation
    Place bacon in a deep 3-quart casserole.
    Cover and microwave at High for 3 minutes.
    Drain off drippings, reserving 2 tablespoons in casserole.
    Add potatoes and onion.
    Drain clams, reserving liquid.
    Set clams aside.
    Stir clam liquid into potato mixture.
    Microwave at High for 7 to 9 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring after 4 minutes.
