Honey Cake (Honigkuchen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. honey
    2 sticks oleo or butter
    5 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 tsp. nutmeg
    3 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. cloves
    4 eggs
    2 c. powdered sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. hot water
    2 tsp. oleo or butter
Preparation
    In a large bowl place flour, baking powder, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves; stir until blended.
    Bring honey and oleo to boil; remove from heat, keep stirring until lukewarm.
    Pour over flour mixture; add eggs.
    Beat until smooth.
    Divide evenly into greased and floured loaf pans (9 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 2 3/4-inches).
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 60 minutes.
    Set pans on cake rack for 15 minutes; loosen around edges and place on platters.
