Mamaw'S Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat (on low speed) with mixer until combined.
    Pour into pie shell (homemade is best).
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven until firm and brown.
    Add meringue and bake if desired.
