Linda'S Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9-inch unbaked pie crust, thawed to room temperature
    6 c. Red Delicious apples, peeled and cored, sliced very thin (about 5 to 6 apples)
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, chipped up
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour. Stir with a fork until well mixed.
    Add apples to this mixture a little at a time, tossing well to coat apples.
    Spoon filling into pie crust; add chipped butter over top.
    Set aside.
