Laffite Rum Punch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 pineapple
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1 c. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
1 1/2 bottles (fifths) Puerto Rican rum
2 qt. sparkling water
1 pt. strawberries, sliced
Preparation

Remove pineapple meat from shell.
Slice and dice.
Make syrup with sugar and water, boiling a few minutes; cool, then pour over pineapple.
Mix all other ingredients except strawberries and chill at least 2 hours.
