White Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. navy beans
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. garlic (crushed or powder)
    1/2 c. sharp cheese
    1 large onion
    2 cans chicken broth
    1 can mild green chili peppers, chopped
    1 jar mild or hot salsa
Preparation
    Cook beans covered with water and broth.
    Add chopped onion, garlic and butter.
    When
    almost done, add green chili peppers. When done, serve in individual bowls.
    Cover with grated cheese and several spoons of salsa.
    May add a cup of diced chicken.
