Lemon Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 slightly beaten egg yolks
    juice of 1 lemon
    3 stiffly beaten egg whites
    1 (9-inch) pie crust
Preparation
    Blend butter with sugar and flour; add egg yolks, lemon juice and peel and milk.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Pour into 9-inch pastry-lined pie pan.
    Bake in hot oven (450\u00b0) for 8 minutes, then in moderate oven (325\u00b0) for 25 minutes.
    Like my mother used to bake.
