Chinese Chews - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 box brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. nuts
4x or 10x sugar (if desired)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together.
Add egg and vanilla.
Put in flour, then add nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
Sprinkle with 4x or 10x sugar while warm if desired.
