Peaches And Cream Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. peach Jello
1 c. boiling water
3/4 c. cold water
3 c. peaches, sliced
1 small banana, sliced
1 env. unflavored gelatin
3 Tbsp. cold water
1/2 c. half-and-half cream
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. peaches, pureed
Preparation

Dissolve peach gelatin in boiling water; stir until dissolved. Add 3/4 cup cold water and mix well.
Chill until the consistency of an unbeaten egg white.
Stir in sliced peaches and banana. Pour into a lightly oiled 8-cup mold.
Chill until set.
Soften gelatin in 3 tablespoons cold water.
Scald half-and-half cream and stir into gelatin mixture.
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add whipping cream, sugar, and pureed peaches; mix well.
Add to gelatin mixture and stir well.
Pour over peach and banana layer. Chill at least 8 hours, or until firm.
Yield:
10-12 servings.
