Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 can pineapple chunks
    bananas
    1 large carton Cool Whip
    1 - 2 pkg. pecans, chopped
    yellow cake mix
Preparation
    Bake cake mix according to directions and break into pieces. Layer in punch bowl as follows:
    cake pieces, 3 to 4 Tbsp. pie filling, 3 to 4 Tbsp. pineapple, 3 to 4 Tbsp. Cool Whip, 3/4 Tbsp. pecan pieces.
    Repeat layers.
    Top with Cool Whip.
    Garnish with cherries and nuts.
