Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. butter
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    pastry
Preparation
    Pare apples and cut into thick slices.
    Mix half the sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle over the apples.
    Pour into unbaked pastry shell.
    Blend the flour, remaining sugar and the butter and work into small crumbs.
    Sprinkle the crumbs over the apples. Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 35 minutes more.
