Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can chunk pineapple, well drained (save juice and set aside)
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Red Delicious apples, chopped very small with skins
    1 c. salted peanuts
    1 large carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook together over medium heat the pineapple juice, sugar, egg, flour and vinegar until it makes a pudding-like consistency. Leave in refrigerator overnight.
    The next day, stir in the chunk pineapple, marshmallows, apples, peanuts and Cool Whip.
