Jalapeno Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 (small) can cream-style corn
3 to 6 jalapeno peppers, chopped
3 medium onions, grated
1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Add milk, oil, eggs and corn.
Beat. Stir in peppers and onions.
Pour half of batter into greased pan. Sprinkle with half of cheese.
Cover with remaining batter.
Put cheese on top and bake at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 (8 to 10-inch pan).
