Nora'S Hot Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. cut tomatoes
    1 1/2 c. white vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    6 large onions, chopped
    6 to 8 bell peppers, chopped
    4 Tbsp. salt
    14 to 20 hot peppers, chopped (start off with 12)
Preparation
    Cook all ingredients in a dishpan until thick, approximately 45 minutes. Stir often, especially last few minutes.
    Pour into hot, clean quart jars.
    Allow to cool.
