Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. roasted salted peanuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar and syrup in 1 1/2-quart bowl.
    Cook 4 minutes on High setting.
    Add peanuts; cook 4 to 5 minutes on High setting. Mixture should be light brown.
    Add vanilla and butter and mix well.
    Cook on High for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Stir in baking soda until mixture is foaming and light.
    Pour on a greased baking sheet. Cool.
    Break into pieces.
