Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
2/3 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Beat eggs with mixer until well mixed.
Stir in butter and vanilla.
Add sugar and mix until thickened.
Dough will be soft. Add flour, baking powder and salt.
Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet.
Dip bottom of glass in sugar and then stamp cookie flat.
Bake 8 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Remove from sheet at once.
Makes about 4 dozen.
