Lentil Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. dried lentils, rinsed and drained
    4 c. water
    1/2 lb. Polish sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
    1 c. onions
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 medium tomato, peeled, seeded and chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Combine lentils and water.
    Let soak 45 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Cover and cook at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or 30 minutes in microwave.
