Beef Or Pork And Vegetable Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. lean beef or pork
    1 tsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. celery, sliced
    1/2 c. onion, sliced
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. carrots, sliced
    dash of pepper
    2 c. zucchini squash, cut in thin strips
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Trim
    fat
    from meat.
    Slice across the grain into thin strips about 1-inch wide and 3-inches long.
    (Partially frozen meat is easier to slice.) Heat oil in frypan.
    Add meat strips and stir-fry over high heat, turning pieces constantly, until no longer
    red
    (3 to 5 minutes).
    Reduce heat.
    Add carrots, celery, onions
    and seasonings.
    Cover and cook until carrots are slightly
    tender
    (3
    to
    4 minutes).
    Mix cornstarch and water. Add slowly to beef mixture, stirring constantly.
    Cook until thickened.
    Serve over rice.
