Savory Cheese Bites - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. finely grated natural Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 c. soft white breadcrumbs
    2 eggs, beaten
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 tsp. prepared mustard
    dry breadcrumbs
    oil for deep frying
Preparation
    Combine cheese and breadcrumbs in a bowl.
    Beat the eggs until frothy and mix in the salt, pepper and mustard.
    Combine with the cheese mixture and form into small balls.
    If mixture is too moist, add a little more soft breadcrumbs, but do not make the texture too dry and crumbly to coat.
    Heat oil for deep frying in wok and when hot, fry a few of the cheese balls at a time on medium heat until they are golden brown all over.
    Lift out and drain on absorbent paper.
    Serve warm or cold.
    Makes about 2 dozen.
