Skillet Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 or 4 lb.) chuck or blade roast
    1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
    1/2 tsp. seasoned pepper
    1 (1 1/2 oz.) envelope dry onion soup mix or 1 thinly sliced onion
Preparation
    Preheat skillet, uncovered, at 325\u00b0.
    Brown roast for 5 minutes on each side.
    Reduce heat to simmer.
    Sprinkle roast with seasoned salt, pepper and soup mix.
    Roast, covered, with vent closed for 2 or 2 1/2 hours.
    Turn after 1 hour.
