Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
3 Tbsp. cocoa
dash of salt
2 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter
1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour, cocoa and salt in a saucepan.
Stir until well mixed.
Beat egg yolks and add to milk.
Stir milk into dry mixture.
Cook slowly on medium to low heat until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter.
Cool, stirring occasionally.
Pour into pie shell and top with meringue or whipped topping.
Makes 1 pie.
May double recipe for 2 pies.
