Chicken Nachos - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 Tbsp. minced jalapeno (optional)
3 Tbsp. chopped onion
2 to 3 cloves pressed garlic
1 1/2 to 2 tsp. chili powder
2 chicken breasts, cubed and cooked
3 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 pkg. pita bread, split
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
salsa (optional)
Preparation

In medium bowl cream the cream cheese, jalapenos, onion, garlic and chili powder.
Fold in chicken and 1 1/2 cups of Jack cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
Spread mixture on insides of split pita bread.
Put on baking sheets.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 5 to 10 minutes, until very hot.
Cover with remaining cheese (Jack and Cheddar).
Continue baking until cheese is melted.
Cut each pita half into 3 wedges.
Serve with salsa (optional).
Makes about 72 wedges.
