Golden Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. pure lemon juice
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a tube cake pan. Cream the butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour with salt and baking powder (if you use self-rising flour, leave out the salt and baking powder) in separate bowl. Beat in with an electric mixer, 1/3 of the flour mixture, the 1/3 of the milk.
    Do this until all the flour and milk are used. Add vanilla and lemon juice. Beat until creamy.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours. Cool before turning out of pan.
