Fruited Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. long grain white rice
    1 c. raisins
    14 1/2 oz. chicken broth
    1/2 tsp. basil
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, saute onion and garlic in butter.
    Stir in rice, raisins, chicken broth and basil.
    Bring to a boil; cover and reduce heat.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
