Apricot Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks oleo
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
3/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1 (18 oz.) jar apricot jam
7 egg yolks

Preparation

Mix first four ingredients together.
Mix apricot jam with egg yolks.
Divide the dough; put 1/2 on cookie sheet.
Press down evenly.
Spread jam mix on dough.
Roll out and cut the rest of the dough into strips.
Lay strips over jam.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
