Apple Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 c. sliced, peeled apples
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1 stick butter
    vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (optional)
Preparation
    Place apples in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole and pour over water and cinnamon which have been mixed together.
    Mix together sugar, flour and butter; spread on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
