Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. margarine
2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Melt margarine in saucepan; add sugar.
Blend in eggs and vanilla.
Add flour mixture gradually, mixing well.
Spread in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
Cool in pan.
Cut into bars.
Makes 24.
