Ingredients

3/4 c. Crisco
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 egg yolks, well beaten
1 c. shredded coconut
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/3 c. orange juice
coconut and grated orange peel
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar together.
Add egg yolk and coconut; beat well.
Sift together flour, salt and soda.
Add to the creamed mixture alternately with orange juice.
After each addition, beat until smooth.
Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle with additional coconut and grated orange peel.
Bake in a moderate 375\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
