Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cabbage, cut coarsely
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice
    5 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 small chopped onion
    1/4 tsp. ground allspice
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. oleo or butter
Preparation
    Cook cut-up cabbage in boiling water until almost tender. Drain.
    Put half of the cabbage in bottom of a greased 2-quart casserole reserving the rest for the top.
    Mix all the rest of the ingredients together, except the milk and remaining cabbage.
    Put into casserole.
    Pour milk over it.
    Put cabbage on top.
    Dot with butter.
    Do not cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 2 hours. Watch so the cabbage doesn't get too burned on top.
