Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
    6 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramel candies
    1 (5.3 oz.) can evaporated milk (can use skim)
    1 c. chopped toasted pecans
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened (can use light)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
Preparation
    Combine crumbs and butter.
    Press onto bottom of a 9-inch spring-form pan.
    Bake for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Melt caramels in milk in heavy 1 1/2-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth (or melt in microwave; stir to smooth). Pour over crust.
    Top with pecans.
