Yellow Squash Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. small yellow squash (about 6 c.)
1/4 c. butter
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. milk
2 large eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
2 Tbsp. melted margarine
Preparation

Wash unpeeled squash; slice in 1/4-inch slices.
Cook in salted water until barely tender.
Drain well.
Put squash in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Add butter, salt, pepper and onion.
Combine milk, eggs and cheese.
Mix well.
Pour over squash mixture and stir until blended.
Top with crumbs and drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
