Chicken And Dumplins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chicken
    3 to 4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 to 1 1/3 c. cold water
Preparation
    Place cleaned chicken in a deep pan.
    Cover with water and season as desired.\tCover and simmer until tender.\tAllow about 1 hour for a broiler-fryer and about 2 to 3 hours for a stewing hen. Sift 3 or 4 cups flour in a bowl.
    Make a well in it.
    Add salt, egg and water.
    Make a stiff dough and let stand in refrigerator a few hours.\tRoll out thin and put into boiling chicken broth and cook.
