Wild Rice With Minted Peas And Pearl Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. wild rice
    1 lb. peas (fresh or frozen)
    5 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 lb. pearl onions, peeled
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh mint
    1 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cook the rice according to directions and set aside.
    Steam the peas over boiling water until tender.
    Remove from heat.
    Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the peas, onion, mint and sugar. Toss and cook for 2 minutes over medium heat.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Gently toss with the wild rice.
