Scalloped Rhubarb - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cubed stale bread (no crusts; dice bread in 1/2-inch pieces)
    2 c. diced, uncooked rhubarb (1-inch pieces)
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick butter, melted
    red food coloring
Preparation
    Add butter to bread and mix well.
    Add sugar to rhubarb and mix well.
    Combine and place in an oblong greased pan.
    Put 1 tablespoon water in each corner of pan.
    Sprinkle lightly with red food coloring.
    Bake 45 minutes at 325\u00b0.
