Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. yellow corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
3/4 c. boiling water

Preparation

Mix all ingredients and drop by teaspoons in hot grease.
Cook until barely brown and crisp.
