Fruited Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    2 tsp. molasses
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    1 lb. cooked boneless, skinless chicken, cut up
    1 medium apple, diced (Red Delicious)
    1/4 c. chopped walnuts
    1/4 c. raisins
    6 tsp. cornstarch
    1 can mandarin oranges, reserve juice
    hot cooked rice
    pepper
Preparation
    Mix water, vinegar, molasses,
    soy
    sauce and pepper in 2-quart casserole.\tMicrowave on High
    for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Stir after 45 seconds.
    Cut
    chicken
    into strips and place in casserole and cover.
    Refrigerate
    for
    1
    hour.
    Add
    apples, walnuts and raisins.
    Microwave until apples are tender.
    Stir in oranges, cover and set
    aside.
    Mix juice and cornstarch in small mixing bowl.
    Microwave until thickened, stirring 3 or 4 times. Pour over chicken and stir.
    Serve over rice.
