Candied Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. pecan halves
    1 c. sugar
    2 egg whites
    dash of salt
    dash of cinnamon
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
    Spread pecans in single layer on jelly roll pan and roast 15-20 minutes.
    DO NOT BURN!
    Remove pecans and let cool.
    Increase oven to 325 degrees.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Gently fold in sugar, salt and cinnamon. Once pecans are cooled, gently fold into egg white mixture.
    Melt butter in jelly roll pan and return pecans to pan in single layer. Bake 30 minutes, turning pecans every 10 minutes, until butter is gone.
