1 c. yellow cream-style corn
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
1 Tbsp. shortening
