Pastry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 tsp. vinegar
1 egg
3 c. flour
2 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cut shortening into flour and sugar.
Beat egg.
Mix vinegar with enough water to make 3/4 cup of liquid and add this to flour mixture.
This recipe makes 4 or 5 pastry shells.
These may be frozen.
