German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2-3 pounds potatoes
1 whole onion
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup white vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Fill large pot with hot water and lightly salt. Bring water to a boil.
Wash potato skins under cool water with veggie brush. Place whole potatoes in water.
Boil until tender. Drain off hot water and run cold water over potatoes.
When potatoes are cool enough to handle, peel
skin off under slow running cool water. Dice potato and place in bowl.
Finely chop onion and add to potatoes.
Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, vegetable oil, vinegar and mix well.
