Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs, beaten (1/2 c. egg substitute)
2 1/4 c. milk
2 egg whites, beaten until fluffy
Preparation

Beat egg whites first. Preheat waffle iron. Oil with spray oil before using for each waffle. Sift together all dry ingredients. Combine remaining ingredients. Add just before baking.
Stir in egg whites to make batter fluffy. (Batter is thin.) Makes 10 or 12.
