Poor Man'S Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box raisins
2 c. water
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. cold water
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour

Preparation

Stew raisins with 2 cups water 20 minutes.
Add Crisco, cold water and 2 cups of sugar.
Add remaining ingredients except flour.
Beat in flour.
Bake in tube pan about 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
