Marie'S Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. lean hamburger
1 small onion
1 small green pepper
1 can creamed corn
2 to 3 c. mashed potatoes
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese (optional)

Preparation

Brown hamburger and drain off fat.
Saute onion and green pepper; add to hamburger.
Season with salt and pepper.
Place hamburger mixture in a greased casserole.
Layer creamed corn on this.
Add the mashed potatoes as the last layer.
Top with grated cheese if desired.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until hot and bubbly.
Serves 4.
