Creamy Split Pea Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fully cooked smoked kielbasa or Polish sausage, thinly sliced
3 cans (11 1/2 oz. each) condensed pea soup with ham and bacon
2 c. water
2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 c. half and half
1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 jar (2 oz.) diced pimentos, drained
Preparation

Cook and stir kielbasa in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat about 5 minutes; drain.
Stir in soup, water and mustard.
Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
Stir in half and half, curry powder and pimentos; heat just until hot, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese if desired.
