Pineapple-Orange Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange jello
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (12 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1 can mandarin oranges, drained
Preparation
    Place pineapple on stove and bring to boil.
    Remove from heat; add jello.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Stir in buttermilk, coconut, nuts and oranges.
    Cool.
    Add Cool Whip.
    Pour in a 13 x 9-inch dish and chill.
    This makes a large salad.
