Mexican Quickie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. hamburger
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 1/2 c. taco sauce
    1 c. water
    1 pkg. tortilla chips
    shredded lettuce
    1 lb. mild grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook hamburger and
    chopped
    onion
    until meat is done. Remove as much grease
    as\tpossible.
    Add\tthe
    taco sauce and water. Let simmer to blend
    flavors.
    In
    the
    bottom
    of 9 x 13-inch pan place
    the
    tortilla
    chips,
    keeping
    the
    chips unbroken. Cover
    chips with layer of shredded lettuce about 2 inches\tdeep. Pour
    meat\tmixture
    over
    lettuce and top with grated cheese. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
