Jane'S Marvelous Mushrooms - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fresh mushrooms
4 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. white wine or cooking sherry
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Remove caps and set mushrooms aside.
Chop stems.
Melt butter in a small skillet and saute stems and onions until tender.
Add bread cubes, cooking over medium heat, stirring constantly until lightly brown.
Add salt, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Fill mushroom caps with the mixture and place in a shallow baking dish.
Pour the wine around the mushrooms and a little over each. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Top with shredded cheese and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until cheese melts.
Serves 4 to 6.
