Strawberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour (self-rising)
    1 c. strawberry preserves
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar and vanilla.
    Beat until fluffy; add eggs, one at a time.
    Combine preserves and buttermilk in a separate bowl.
    To butter mixture, alternately add flour and preserves mixture.
    Beat until well blended.
    Stir in nuts; grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Cool in pan.
