Swedish Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 c. peeled, chopped apples
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Mix in order given. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven. Remove from the oven and pour on topping.
