Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

32 oz. applesauce
2 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a 2-quart casserole.
Stir well and bake, uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Apple butter should appear thick and almost transparent.
Stir occasionally.
Spoon into jars, cover and store in refrigerator.
